Pioneering Climate Action: A Chevening-PETRONAS Scholar and Perdana Fellow Alumni ✨ We are proud to announce that Perdana Fellow Alumni, Ms Lydia Hong, from Batch 3 who served under the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation in 2015, has been awarded the prestigious Chevening Scholarship. She is currently pursuing her MSc in Climate Change, Management and Finance at Imperial College London. Lydia was the Co-Director for the Climate Finance Summit 2024, a flagship Perdana Fellows Alumni Association event driving meaningful dialogue and partnerships to accelerate national climate finance initiatives. Her experience spans across renewable energy projects, corporate sustainability strategies, bond issuance and public sector contributions to digital economy initiatives and policy development in science. Congratulations Lydia on your achievements! We wish you continued success as you embark on this inspiring journey to create impactful change globally.

We are proud to announce that one of our Alumni members, Hoh Jia Da from Perdana Fellows Batch 8 who previously served under the Ministry of Works in 2020, has been selected as the recipient for the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship for Malaysia under Yayasan Khazanah. He will join other Rhodes scholars from all over the world to pursue his postgraduate studies at the University of Oxford in October 2025. Previously, in 2022, he had also won the Ikon Reka Tekno National Youth Premier Award 2022 which was an award that was introduced to recognize the youth who has contributed to the development of technology under the Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia (KBS). Congratulations JD on your achievements and we wish you the best of luck in your new journey!
