For this upcoming International Women’s Day, we want to highlight Chia-Jung Hou, an R&D engineer in the Ultra Low Power Radio Frequency team at Holst Centre. 💬 "Every day at Holst Centre brings new challenges and opportunities, and that’s what I love about being an R&D engineer. I’ve never felt defined by being a woman in this role—I’m simply seen as a designer, just like everyone else. That mindset makes working here a great place for women in technical fields. I’m confident more women will join the tech world because innovation is for everyone, and diverse perspectives only make us stronger."

During LOPEC 2025, TNO at Holst Centre will also be diving deeper into the use of hybrid printed electronics for medical wearables. Medical wearables are currently a young and growing field with a large impact on future Healthcare. Hybrid Printed Electronics can play an enabling role in providing the shift due to there flexible, conformable possibilities for applications on the body.   Join our colleagues Natallia E. Exciting days at the World Electrolysis Conference in Cologne! It was a pleasure to participate alongside my colleagues Oscar Diaz-Morales and Auke Jisk Kronemeijer representing the High-Tech Electrolysis team from Holst Centre. We had insightful discussions on the latest advancements in electrolysis technologies, from materials innovation to scalability challenges for green hydrogen production. Engaging with industry-leading OEMs, component manufacturers, and researchers reaffirmed the importance of collaboration in accelerating the energy transition.
