A new chapter for PowerGo: Ivo van Dam becomes CEO We are proud to announce the appointment of Ivo van Dam as CEO! Having played a key role in PowerGo’s journey since the foundation, Ivo brings experience, expertise and vision to this new position. In 2019, Ivo van Dam joined our parent company PowerField. Since PowerGo’s founding in 2020, Ivo has served as Chief Technology Officer for both companies. From now on, Ivo will be fully focused on PowerGo as Chief Executive Officer. Exciting news for EV drivers in Ikast-Brande 🇩🇰⚡️ All 152 public charging points in the municipality of Ikast-Brande are up and running! EV drivers can charge at convenient locations like schools, sports centers, kindergartens, and different municipal buildings, with a charging speed ranging from 22 to 150 kW. The biggest charging hub is located along the highway Herningmotorvejen in Ikast. Here, EV drivers can charge at 8 AC and 8 ultra-fast charging points of 150 kW! Over the next two years, we install 1200 more charging points across Denmark. EV drivers benefit from transparent, fair, and dynamic charging prices, making EV driving even more attractive and green! More ultra fast chargers for Jumbo ⚡️ We are busy providing more locations of Jumbo Supermarkten with ultra fast chargers! Over the past few months, we installed chargers at Rijssen, Neede, Hardenberg, Hoogerheide, Krimpen aan den IJssel, and Groningen. At Jumbo Reitdiephaven in Groningen, two EVs can charge simultaneously with a maximum of 320 kW. Thanks to this smart charging solution with an integrated battery, we were able to commission the charger quickly despite the grid congestion. 🇩🇰  Ein kleines Wintermärchen in Dänemark: Ein sehr gutes Ladeerlebnis fernab von Roaming-Abzocke und Tarifdschungel! 🎄⚡ Während wir in Deutschland und der Schweiz immer wieder über teures Lade-Roaming und intransparente Preiseschimpfen 😡, zeigt uns Dänemark, wie zukunftsfähige E-Mobilität aussehen kann – einfach, fair und benutzerfreundlich! 🤩 Im Sommer waren wir schon begeistert von unserem Urlaub in Dänemark. Die beeindruckende Ladeinfrastruktur und die nachhaltige Einstellung des Landes haben uns regelrecht verzaubert. So sehr, dass wir jetzt im Winter zurückgekehrt sind, um Weihnachten hier zu feiern. 🎅✨ 🥳 Aber wisst ihr, was ich noch vor Weihnachten so richtig feiere? Das ist das Ladeerlebnis hier und mir hier meine ich fast überall in Dänemark! ➡️ Ad-hoc-Zahlung? Problemlos möglich! ➡️ Preise? Transparent ersichtlich! ➡️ Ladesäulen? Immer genügend vorhanden – an Autobahnen, Supermärkten und fast immer auch als Schnelllader! Ein Beispiel, das mich vollends begeistert hat: Schau dir das Bild an. 👀 Bevor man reinfährt zu den Ladesäulen informiert ein großes Schild über die Ad-hoc-Ladepreise. Und das Beste? Zwei Anbieter – jeweils um 20 Ladepunkte bis zu 400 kW Leistung alle von Alpitronic, aber mit unterschiedlichen Preisen. Konkurrenz belebt ja bekanntlich das Geschäft.💰 Alle Säulen sind überdacht und auf den Dächern ist natürlich eine PV-Anlage. ☀️ Dazu Sitzgelegenheiten, Tische, Abfalleimer – und direkt daneben die ursprüngliche Raststätte mit Shop, WC usw.. Ich habe dort nicht laden müssen, sondern laden wollen. Einfach hinfahren, Ad-hoc zahlen (2,95 DKK/kWh, etwa 40 Cent), und fertig. Keine App, kein Abo, kein nerviger Schnickschnack. Zum Vergleich: IONITY bietet ähnliche Preise, aber nur mit einem speziellen Abo-Pass, der monatlich extra kostet und nur an ihren Säulen funktioniert. Und der "Powerpass" von Elli? Über 7 DKK/kWh – also mehr als das Doppelte! Und so hoffe ich sehr, dass wir ähnliche Angebote bald in ganz Europa und nicht nur in den skandinavischen Ländern sehen werden! 600+ clean charging points ⚡️ At PowerGo, we are dedicated to ensuring a seamless user experience during every charging session. Well maintained chargers are essential in achieving this. That’s why we partnered with Eco Cleaning Solutions to clean over 600 of our charging points across the Netherlands in a sustainable way! ECS uses their innovative dry wash technique, which effectively cleans our chargers with minimal water usage. Our ultra fast charger at De Zingende Wielen in Den Oever is shining bright again.
