Vopak Horizon Fujairah successfully completed its first ISCC Certified bio-bunkering supply operations in the UAE, supporting the country’s Net Zero by 2050 strategy. This marks a milestone in advancing the maritime industry’s decarbonisation journey by fostering more sustainable fuel bunkering supply chain solutions. “This operation represents a significant step in the decarbonisation of the supply chain. Our heartfelt thanks to the strong cooperation with all our valued partners,” said Law Say Huat, General Manager of Vopak Horizon Fujairah Limited. The success of this biofuel bunkering is driven by the solid collaboration and focus on operations excellence with all the partners involved. Currently, Vopak has 32 terminals within its global network ISCC certified to store sustainable products like sustainable aviation fuel and other biofuels and feedstocks. This operation involved the supply of B24 bunker fuel, a blend of 24% of FAME with Very Low Sulfur Fuel Oil. Biofuels contain less sulfur than traditional high-sulfur fuels, thus reducing sulfur oxide emissions from ships. #biofuels #bioBunkering

On this International Women’s Day, we would like to proudly reflect on our colleagues within Vopak WeConnect and their initiatives that empower and inspire young women around the world. For example our colleagues in Panama and Mexico, the Women Entrepreneurs program strengthened entrepreneurial skills and fostered personal and professional growth. Participants learned innovation and marketing strategies, built strong resumes, and received guidance for job interviews. The program also addressed the importance of gender equity, helping young women recognize their value and potential. Meanwhile, in Texas, Vopak colleagues participated in a project organized by This One’s for the Gals. The initiative introduces high school students to career pathways in construction, energy, and manufacturing — industries where female representation is still growing. Our colleagues shared their experiences to inspire students and show them the exciting possibilities within our field. These are are just some examples of good initiatives from our colleagues to empower local women in the communities of our terminals. A heartfelt thank you to all who made these programs a success. At Vopak we embrace our role as an enabler of positive change. We want to create value for all our stakeholders, including our own employees, potential talent and people in our local communities. We recognize that diversity in its broadest sense contributes to better decisionmaking. We continuously explore how we can make meaningful improvements for a more inclusive environment. Let’s accelerate action and continue working together to inspire and empower women! We help the world flow forward. #IWD2025 #AccelerateAction

Expanding our global industrial terminal capacity, Thai Tank Terminal and PTT Global Chemical sign landmark 15-year ethane storage and handling agreement. Vopak has reached a positive final investment decision in expanding its global industrial terminal footprint by constructing 160,000 cubic metres tank infrastructure in Map Ta Phut, Rayong, to support the import of U.S. ethane into Thailand. Vopak’s joint venture entity Thai Tank Terminal signed a landmark 15-year contract with PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC), a leading global chemicals company, for the storage and handling of ethane in Thailand. Under this agreement, Thai Tank Terminal will construct a new 160,000 cubic metres tank infrastructure backed by a long term contract and is expected to be completed in 2029. This ethane infrastructure is strategically important. Ethane will serve as a long term feedstock supply for petrochemical crackers, enhancing cost competitiveness, feedstock security and reinforcing Thailand’s leadership position in the global chemical industry. As part of Vopak’s investment strategy in Thailand, Vopak plans to allocate approximately EUR 130 million over the next four years related to storage and other infrastructure in the Map Ta Phut region. These investments are not related to any specific project and are expected to provide accretive operating cash return upon commissioning. Ethane has a lower carbon footprint compared to conventional feedstocks like naphtha, aligning with GC’s commitment to sustainable and responsible operations. #infrastructure #Ethane
