Did you know UK undergraduate degrees typically take 3 years, compared to the 4 years in the U.S.? The key difference is focus: in the U.S., you're required to take a variety of courses, while in the UK, your studies are specialized and directly tied to your major. This means you finish quicker and dive into your career sooner. The UK also offers 1-year master's programs, allowing you to specialize and gain international perspective, all while saving time and money. If you've done your undergrad in the U.S., consider a 1-2 year master’s in the UK to gain specialized knowledge and open new career doors. PhD programs at top UK universities, like Oxford, can also be completed in just 3-4 years, compared to 5-6 years in the U.S. Ever thought about studying in the UK? It’s a faster path to your degree and could give you a major head start on your career. Let’s chat about the best programs for you! https://lnkd.in/eG5gGrTp #UKUniversity #UKMasters #PhD #HigherEducation #StudyAbroad #CrimsonEducation

🚨 Big news from USC and Marshall School of Business, starting in Fall 2025, they’re launching a two-year Early Decision (ED) pilot for their undergraduate business and accounting programs. This is a major shift in USC’s admissions strategy, and it could have a big impact on how students approach their applications. Early Decision is different from Early Action because it’s binding—if you’re accepted, you must enroll and withdraw all other applications. For students who are absolutely certain USC is their top choice, this could be a great opportunity to lock in their college choice early. Many colleges admit a higher percentage of students in ED rounds because they know these applicants are fully committed. That said, ED isn’t the right choice for everyone. Since you won’t be able to compare financial aid offers, it’s crucial to understand the financial side before committing. This decision will also impact USC’s Regular Decision and Early Action rounds, potentially making them even more competitive. If you’re thinking about applying ED but aren’t sure if it’s the right move, we can help you figure out your best strategy. Schedule a consultation with us to learn more! https://lnkd.in/gziRgzbD

Understanding what qualifies as a "good" SAT score is key to navigating the college admissions process effectively. 📚 While there isn’t a universal benchmark, aiming for a score that aligns with your target schools' average can give you a major advantage. For top universities like those in the Ivy League, you’ll typically need a score of 1500 or above to stand out. However, many competitive schools have slightly lower thresholds, with scores in the 1300+ range still making a strong impression. But it’s not just about the number, it’s about context. Your SAT score should complement the rest of your application, including your GPA, extracurriculars, and personal essays. 🎯 In our latest blog post, we break down what counts as a "good" SAT score for a range of universities, how to improve your score, and why it’s important to consider your score in the context of your entire application. If you’re prepping for the SAT or just trying to understand how your score stacks up, this post is a must-read. Check it out here: https://lnkd.in/gixZysj8 Don’t forget to save it for later or share it with anyone who’s getting ready for the SAT! #SATPrep #CollegeAdmissions #CrimsonEducation #SAT

💫 "Some dreams feel too big—until they're not anymore." 💫 We’ve had the privilege of working with students who dream big and put in the work to make those dreams a reality. Adeetya’s journey is nothing short of inspiring, what started as a late-night scroll through the Top Universities in the World list turned into a life-changing moment: a full-ride scholarship to the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management. This is what happens when talent, dedication, and the right support come together. Adeetya, we’re beyond proud to have been part of your journey through the Crimson Access Opportunity (CAO) scholarship, and we can’t wait to see all that you accomplish next. 🚀 To every student out there chasing a dream that feels just out of reach: Keep going. Driving Startups to Product Excellence | Lester B. Pearson International Scholar | Crimson Access Scholar | Building @GoGetter
Feb 15th, 5:36 AM. Everything changed for me. I still remember 13-year-old Adeetya, scrolling through 'Top Universities of the World 2020' list at 2 AM. Each name felt like a distant star - beautiful, but impossibly far away. I decided if I ever walked through those university gates, it would be on my own merit, without my parents having to sacrifice their life's savings for my dreams. Every all-nighter, every internship, every opportunity to learn and grow - they all led to one moment. Feb 15th, 5:36 AM. Through tears and trembling hands, I read: "Congratulations on being awarded the Lester B. Pearson International Scholarship at the University of Toronto." A FULL RIDE WORTH ₹2.5 CRORE. A place at University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management (yes, one of those 'Top Universities of the World 2020' - life has a funny way of coming full circle). One of just 2-3 scholars chosen from India, among 30 from across the world. The 1.5% acceptance rate still makes my heart skip a beat. To my parents, the complex world of college applications was always just "kuch kaam kar raha hai." They never got to complete their own education the way they'd dreamed of, and this whole process was foreign territory. But that's what makes their support even more precious. They didn't need to understand the system to believe in me. This was never a one-man show. There are so many of you I just cannot thank enough: Crimson Education for awarding me the Crimson Access Opportunity, making much-needed external help accessible to me for free. Emily (who probably deserves a whole separate post) for helping me and guiding me through every step of my applications while patiently tolerating all of me (trust me, it's next to impossible). Nabil for being so helpful throughout the brainstorming of the writing process. Anna & Ria for selflessly sharing their inputs, helping everything come together, one feedback at a time. Mridu ma'am who always inspired me to push for more without any fear of failure. Tatsam who was always there like a brother to me. Rohit Jain sir for taking a chance on a 15-year-old and trusting me with my first corporate internship - it truly was a gamechanger and opened so many doors. And of course, my friends who were with me through thick and thin (my yap is not too easy to bear, so these are some very well-deserved mentions) - Hitu, Kashvi, Unnati, Saksham, Vedika, Oliwia, Sayesha, Tanya, Vrinda and so so many more of you! They say some dreams feel too big until they're not anymore. Today, as I prepare to step into the next phase of my life, I carry with me not just my own dreams, but also the aspirations of so many of you who taught me that faith and hard work always find their way back. And to anyone reading this who's holding onto a dream that feels too big - keep going. Your 5:36 AM moment is waiting. ❤️ #UofT #RotmanCommerce #LesterBPearsonScholarship

Our CEO, Jamie Beaton, recently had the opportunity to speak with the Columbia University Law and Entrepreneurship Society about his incredible journey from New Zealand to launching Crimson Education. 🎓✨ Check out Jamie’s reflections on his experiences and lessons learned along the way. 👇
It was great fun speaking today at the Columbia University Law and Entrepreneurship Society about the journey from New Zealand to Tiger Management, launching Crimson Education, how I've used my unusual educational experiences to help grow our global business, balancing Yale Law School with a high growth business and top tips for aspiring lawyer-entrepreneurs. It was exciting to meet a number of students who were running their own businesses in areas ranging from healthcare to education while being in law school and others considering launching AI-law start-ups. Thanks to Ghalia Aamer and Hala T. Riad for hosting the event.
