Ryan Reynolds – who is promoting his new sci-fi thriller Life – told Good Morning America on Thursday that he finds air travel with his two young children very difficult. “I’ve always had empathy for parents, especially flying. I remember before I had kids, I was always like, ‘God, that’s hard.’ Because you can see they’re sweating and they’re nervous because their kids are yelling and everyone’s mad at them,” said Reynolds, adding, “I’m the same way.” Want all the latest pregnancy and birth announcements, plus celebrity mom blogs? It’s the best thing that could ever happen to you.” During his GMA appearance, Reynolds also paid compliments to Life costar Jake Gyllenhaal—admitting that the actor may be a better cook than his wife. “Blake, my wife is very good at cooking and Jake might just be a little bit better,” Reynolds said. “He can throw down. It gets very competitive between those two.” Knowing that the comment may land him in hot water with Lively, Reynolds joked, “I’m moving out at the end of month. I’m actually moving out right now, under this desk. I’m already making plans.” Gyllenhaal, 36, is a frequent visitor at the family’s home, and Reynolds described him as “the most interesting actor working in Hollywood today” and one of “the kindest guys” he has ever met. “I’ve done almost 50 movies in 24 years and every time you work with people, you’re like, ‘I’m going to hang out with this guy all the time’ but you never see each other again,” he said. But that’s not the case with Gyllenhaal, as Reynolds said: “We’re hanging out all the time. We live near each other, it’s great.” Close Leave a Comment
