Faltas justificadas ao Trabalho para Pessoas com Endometriose ou com Adenomiose – Alteração ao Código do Trabalho Foi publicada ontem a Lei n.º 32/2025, que instituiu um regime de faltas justificadas para pessoas com endometriose ou com adenomiose, procedendo à alteração do Código do Trabalho com o aditamento de um novo artigo. Especificamente, o novo artigo 252.º-B confere às trabalhadoras que sofrem de dores graves e incapacitantes provocadas por endometriose ou por adenomiose durante o período menstrual o direito a faltar justificadamente ao trabalho até três dias consecutivos por cada mês de prestação de trabalho, sem perda de qualquer direito, incluindo retribuição. Para prova do motivo justificativo da falta, a ser realizada nos termos gerais do artigo 254.º, a trabalhadora deve entregar ao empregador uma única prescrição médica que ateste a endometriose ou a adenomiose com dores incapacitantes, sem que haja necessidade de proceder mensalmente à sua renovação. Esta alteração entra em vigor no dia 26 de abril de 2025. #VdA #laboral

VdA takes part in International Data Centre Day event Magda Cocco is a speaker at the event dedicated to International Data Centre Day, which will take place on March 26 at the Capitólio Theatre in Lisbon. Organised by the Portuguese Data Centre Association - PortugalDC, the event aims to debate key issues related to data centres, highlighting their strategic role in the development of the digital economy, the sustainability of the sector and the technological and regulatory challenges that mark the present and future of the industry. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, the 32nd edition of which will take place in Vienna in April. The VII Lisbon Vis Pre-Moot is organised by the Under 40 Council of the Portuguese Arbitration Association and the Portuguese Arbitration Moot Association, of which Matilde Líbano Monteiro and Ricardo Ramos Lourenço are members respectively, in collaboration with other associations of young lawyers.
