I've seen so many posts about the changes in our industry this year and how AI and expectations from business is morphing the way we work in the design industry. But I think Fabricio Teixeira and Caio Braga have captured the sentiment beautifully in their article: https://trends.uxdesign.cc "What we have started to witness this year is a fundamental shift in responsibilities and a transfer of design control from designers to a complex network of algorithms, automated tools, and business stakeholders". At the end of may I took part in the UX Research workshop led by Ana Cláudia Dias through EDIT. - Disruptive Digital Education. This time allowed us to get hands-on and practise some of the biggest challenges faced when planning each step of #UXresearch. ✨ Questioning, organising and planning the research value are important processes that help companies define what they want to achieve. ✨ Research must generate actionable knowledge. Just think of the question: What are you going to do with data? What decisions will be made in the future as a result of the research? ✨ There are many methods of psychology that we can use, but one or more may suit your problem. The challenge is to find the best combination or to be creative to achieve the research goal. ✨ Huge databases can be another problem if the data is not useful for research. We should check why or how they are being collected. ✨ If nothing is being measured, think about doing it. Measurement allows us to see how effective improvements are compared to old solutions. ✨ Without the right people, we can't get the right answers. And moderating is more about listening, empathising and being available to receive than talk. ✨ Analysing, transcribing, identifying, relating and coding is work that take time. It's a challenge to write the right words, so it's all right rephrasing again. ✨ The presentation of the results must be understandable to the type of audience or maturity of the company. And don't leave your research without recommendations as they are the guiding thread for what to do next. Overall, was a pleasure time that combined a lot of sharing experience and I'm very grateful to continue reviewing and learning 🚀

This is a great collection of resources on Accessibility. But do remember that accessibility is something that needs to be an awareness throughout all stages of the development lifecycle - design, develop, test, as well as promoted and invested across all stakeholder levels within an organisation for an accessibility commitment and strategy to be successful.
