Watson IoT with Common Lisp
developerWorks
Common Lisp is a very special language with an unmatched expressive power; with Armed Bear Common Lisp we can leverage existing Java libraries and thus bring that expressiveness to situations where we would otherwise be limited in our language choice. In this project we will be using ABCL with Eclipse Paho for IoT integration via MQTT.

This was the starting point of this project, which is split into two main parts:
- Database: the "backend", the database are YAML entries for individuals (with a schema associated for validation) that use the built-in GitHub versioning and approval mechanisms to add traceability: once an entry has been created or updated, the site is updated through CI/CD.
- Web site: using Cytoscape.js, Timeline.js, and other libraries, it allows for a rich interactive exploration of the database, with many different layouts, ability to search and trace connections, view the supporting information for each shown relation, and more. -
