Topian's vision for the future of food is taking shape on the ground. We’re excited to announce the inauguration of Topian's pilot high-tech greenhouse in Oxagon Innovation Bay, NEOM. This milestone marks NEOM's first climate-resilient agricultural facility, paving the way for sustainable food production in the NEOM region and other arid areas. This greenhouse spans four hectares of state-of-the-art facilities and will produce almost 2,000 metric tons of fruit and vegetables. It will test cutting-edge technologies to improve crop productivity and enhance food security, while reducing the environmental impact. Topian and Saudi Greenhouses Management & Agri Marketing Co. (SGH) are launching a new Horticulture Innovation Center (HIC). This hub at the University of Tabuk aims to develop local talent, encourage research on growing food sustainably and be the platform to connect public and private entities, becoming the driving force for enhanced food security in the Kingdom. This collaboration is a significant step towards showcasing the future of Saudi Arabian horticulture, nurturing local expertise to achieve more sustainable harvests with fewer resources.
