We are pleased to announce the successful launch of the Columbus 3D Navigation System in Alexandria New Medical Center , marking a significant milestone in our ongoing expansion within Egypt’s EP market. This achievement reflects the exceptional collaboration of Dr. Ali Aboelhouda and our dedicated team MKadvance Mohamed Fathy Mohamed Ibrahim. We commenced our launch with highly challenging cases: -The first patient was a 37-year-old male presenting with dextrocardia, sustained atrial tachycardia, and a history of atrial flutter ablation. Ablation at the earliest activation site in the right atrial appendage successfully terminated the atrial tachycardia with no recurrence. Additionally, further ablation of the cavotricuspid isthmus (CTI) was performed to address residual conduction. - The second case involved frequent monomorphic PVCs originating from the posteromedial left ventricular papillary muscle (PMPM) , with a PVC burden of 40%. Anatomical and activation mapping of the left ventricle was done, and ablation of the earliest ventricular activation was successfully performed using the trans-aortic approach with 40–50W power.
