Exclusive: Here’s what Bobby Deol says about working in Kabir Singh director’s Animal

Bobby Deol is riding high on the success he’s seeing after making a comeback in Bollywood a few years ago. The actor surprised all with his look in Race 3, his humour in Housefull 4 and more recently he won applauds for showcasing his on screen villainous side in the web show Aashram. His performances have led him to bag multiple interesting projects and one being, the Kabir Singh director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal.
Bobby who’s left impressed with the director’s last Hindi flick, Shahid Kapoor starrer, which was the remake of Vanga’s own Telugu film Arjun Reddy (2017) speaks highly about the project. He says, “This film is going to be something different, definitely! I mean, you have seen Sandeep’s films and he makes them so differently. He made this film with Shahid and the love story between the actors (Shahid-Kiara Advani) was presented in a strikingly different way. His characters were built up so nicely.”
The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra. Interestingly, it reunites Anil with Bobby after they did Race 3 in 2018. About the reunion Bobby says, “I am working with Anil Kapoor once again. You have to see his energy on set. He’s like a teenager! This kind of people leave you inspired. He’s been in the industry for so many years, yet he continues to love his work. He’s just unstoppable and the spirit inspires you!”
