AND Digital is on a mission to close the world’s digital skills gap. We do that by doing things differently when we work with our clients, communities and colleagues. Instead of working FOR exciting brands (like British Airways, Heineken and Nike), we work WITH them, and that's not just a party line. We combine our people with our clients' people to form a single project team, so collaborative you can't tell our ANDis from our clients. By working together, we help our partners understand and map out the challenges they're trying to solve. Then, by building their digital products as one team, we teach them the same digital skills we have. That means when we leave, they can own their apps, websites and future projects independently. Pretty cool huh? We have cross-functional teams working across the UK, Netherlands and East Coast US - and growing by demand. Our unique, city-based Club model means we can offer the agility and personalised service of a small local company, with the security and clout of a global organisation.

    Empowering women through digital skills and equality Our Edinburgh Managing Director Fiona Burton looks at how we can bridge the digital skills gap and empower the next generation of women in technology. Fiona comments: "Progress in business isn’t linear, and diversity moves in waves. The businesses that will ‘win’ are the ones that stay competitive by continuing to put the diversity agenda at the heart of their business strategy. Not just in hiring, but in targeting customers too. Diversity in the technology sector hasn't advanced much over the past five years, and has even stagnated due to economic pressures.   • Yesterday, we hosted our biggest Women in Tech event yet, bringing together 50 senior leaders to explore resilience and how AI is transforming businesses and leadership. The day was packed with inspiration, starting with an incredible keynote from Roz Savage MBE, who didn’t just share her journey rowing solo across the oceans, but also the mindset and resilience it took to make it happen. We then heard from Konstantina Kapetanidi, Global Head of CRM & AI Sales Enablement Schroders, who delivered a humble and personal keynote on AI and leadership. Our breakout sessions, led by Leena Pankhania, GenAI Strategy Lead AND Digital, and Sidrah Hassan, AI Ethics Consultant AND Digital, showed us how AI tools are being adopted in an ethical way, bringing practical, real examples. AND to round it all off, a brilliant panel discussion, expertly hosted by Lauren Hine, Chief for Marketing & Alliances AND Digital, featuring an incredible group of AI leaders: Laura Acqualagna, Director of AI/ML Engineering at GSK, Natalia Konstantinova, Global Architecture Lead in AI bp, and Konstantina Kapetanidi. One of the best things about the day? Seeing how naturally women connected, shared experiences, and learnt from each other. This event was the 8th in our UK series, inspired by our Rewards & Resilience report, launched last year.
