As we enter Q2, we wanted to take the opportunity to reflect upon just a couple of the impactful sustainability projects we’ve had the opportunity to support so far this year at Bedrock Healthcare Communications: 1. Mau Region, Kenya – We're helping to fund the restoration of 14 million native trees to combat deforestation and enhance biodiversity. This initiative not only supports local wildlife but also provides food sources like avocado, lemon, and papaya for local communities. 2. Macaúbas, Brazil – We're backing a project that captures methane from landfills to generate clean electricity, reducing greenhouse gas emissions and replacing fossil-fuel power. This project will cut 445,100 tCO2e annually, promoting sustainable waste management. At Bedrock Healthcare Communications we're proud to support initiatives that contribute to the well-being of both people and the planet 🧑🤝🧑 🌍🌳 #ClimateAction #Sustainability #NetZero

🏆 Reflecting on an Inspiring Experience at the PM Society Awards! 🏆 This time last week, three of our team members Kitty Vavasour, Hannah Lucia Cochrane and Isabella Davies, had the incredible opportunity to attend the PM Society Awards, after earning their tickets through the PM Society ‘New Talent’ initiative. This fantastic programme gives early-career professionals the chance to experience industry-leading events and gain inspiration from the best creative minds in healthcare communications. A huge thank you to PM Society for making this possible! Our team left feeling inspired by the power of authentic and emotive storytelling - proof that the best creative work doesn’t just capture attention; it connects, resonates, and drives action. They’ll be bringing key insights back to the wider Bedrock Healthcare Communications team, but in their own words: "We feel incredibly privileged to have been given this opportunity and had a truly insightful, memorable, and fun-filled day (and night!)". #PMSocietyAwards #HealthcareCommunications #NewTalent #CreativeExcellence

The patient voice is essential and every one deserves the right to be heard. If you care about this, and the future of medicine, then be part of the conversation. Join our sister agency Origins - The Patient Focused Specialists on their webinar.
Who Gets a Seat at the Table in Healthcare? For too long, decisions in medicine have been made without the very people they impact most - patients. Data can tell us a lot, but without real experiences and diverse perspectives, we risk building a healthcare system that works for some but not for all. On Monday 24th March at 2:00 PM GMT, Origins - The Patient Focused Specialists and ISPEP are bringing together leading voices in patient advocacy and healthcare equity to discuss how we can ensure every patient’s experience helps shape the future of medicine. This webinar is titled "Not Just a Number: Making Sure Every Voice Shapes the Future of Medicine" and will be led by Su Smith alongside Alexandra Charge, CEO of ISPEP, and Professor Lara Bloom, CNE, President and CEO of The Ehlers-Danlos Society. This isn’t just another webinar - it’s a call to rethink how we design healthcare for the future. Join us and be part of the conversation.
