How good is this!! It’s always great working with you Ian Kirk and a real privilege seeing our delegates and corporate clients faces after they realise they can achieve something they thought was initially outside of their grasp. We know Leon and all here at the #BEST team enjoy what you and #inneralchemy bring to the wider delivery team. The only question is, where in the world shall we travel to next…
Over the last few years I’ve learnt the world of elite sport and elite business are very similar. Both are extremely competitive, demand the best out of their teams and push the boundaries of what is possible. Elite teams are willing to go the extra mile and do more than their competitors to achieve success and overall greatness. It’s a place where small margins can be the difference between huge success or complete failure. What is it that separates the elite from the average? It’s their mentality, discipline, resilience and confidence. It’s the ability to perform and thrive under pressure and in stressful situations. But can these attributes be learned? Yes absolutely they can! Remember “you are only as good as your team”. A strong team cohesion is essential for continued success. The happier, healthier and more connected the team, the stronger and more productive the team will be. Great leaders know “if you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together” It’s extremely important that your team knows how to control their stress response, build resilience and a strong mentality which will help them in all areas of life. Our breathing is directly connected to our central nervous system. Learning how to breathe correctly in moments of stress can be truly life changing. It enables us to have more control over your fight or flight response, enhances decision making, while creating a positive impact on our overall health and wellbeing. As a kid I spent most of my childhood struggling to breathe and lacking in confidence. It seems quite surreal that I now travel the world coaching people how to breathe better. I absolutely love it! I love seeing people overcome their fears, break their perceived limitations, connect with themselves and others on a deeper level. I’d like say a massive thanks to Leon Lloyd at Bespoke Elite Speaker Training for bringing me out to Singapore and giving me the opportunity to teach alongside you. It’s been a real honor and a fantastic experience. Thank you for believing in me and for being a genuine caring and awesome man! I’d like to say a massive thank you to Rachel Flynn (née Mc Keon) at Newline Group for being so open minded, courageous and dedicated to helping and improving your staff’s/colleagues/ teammates and friends mentality, health and overall wellbeing. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and making our trip to Singapore a truly memorable one. I loved every minute of it and look forward to returning one day soon. A huge thank you also to UFIT Health & Fitness | Singapore for providing awesome facilities and hospitality. Finally, to Damian McGrath, a phenomenal coach and incredibly wise inspiring and humble man—your signed book, “Can you be Fluent in Success?” which gripped me through a lightning storm on my flight home.
