Quality data doesn't just magically appear But if you don't want to wait, here are some tips to get it faster 💡 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 – You don’t need all the data to do your analysis, so be specific about what you need and what you want. Sometimes less is more and the smaller the ask, the faster and better quality you will get 💕 𝐁𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐁𝐅𝐅 – Talk to them, help them out with things and just be a friend to them. You will fall atop their priority list by virtue of being a friend! 🔑 𝐈𝐧𝐩𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 – Help out the data governance and quality team by telling them what type of quality you need, and explain how best to get the data from source to consumption in the easiest possible way 🎤 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐭𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐬 – Help your data gov and engineers by stressing the importance of clean data to data producers.
