Our newest Sustainable Sips is all about the teams travel during February, after our efforts to travel sustainably whenever possible. We wanted to share our sustainable highs and lows during this month afterv a very busy sales month for the team. We’ve used the UK Government’s Greenhouse Gas Reporting for Companies guidelines to work out our CO2e after travelling an accumulative 10,000km! 💚

We are beyond proud to announce that we are now a Certified B Corporation ®, just in time for B Corp Month! We are so excited that both Canned Wine Co. & The Copper Crew, as part of Canned Wine Company Ltd, are pushing the boundaries of wine in alternative formats. From working with wineries that prioritise biodiversity and responsible land management, rethinking packaging and design, to trying to be a people-first business with a strong commitment to our local community in Bath. After achieving the Butterfly Mark from Positive Luxury in 2024, our certification with B Lab UK is a testament to our commitment to sustainability. A special mention to our Head of Operations & Sustainability, Marieke Hammes, who led the certification process for our team. Achieving a score of 90 is just the start of our B Corp journey, we will continuously strive to improve our environmental and social performance and welcome being part of such an inspirational group of brands that do business better. We can't wait to share more of our journey in the coming weeks!

‘We've sold more wine in the past few weeks than ever before!’ With The Copper Crew now pouring at Mondo, customers can enjoy high-quality, exciting wine options while the team benefits from reduced waste. We were lucky enough to visit Mondo and watch the system in action - showcasing how wine on tap works seamlessly in taprooms and beyond, whilst getting to pour a few wines ourself! 🦋 It’s Butterfly Week! 🦋 This week allows us to reflect on Positive Luxury’s Butterfly Mark and our upcoming year of certification. The Butterfly Mark is an independent verification for with luxury brands to help redefine business models for a sustainable future through an ESG+ assessment, risk and opportunity mapping and transition strategy. WE’VE LAUNCHED WINE ON TAP 🎉 We are so excited to announce that The Copper Crew is now available on tap! After keeping it a secret for the past few months, our Fiano and Negroamaro are now pouring in several sites across the UK with the full lineup on its way for summer. Our Operations team have been working incredibly hard to raise the standard of house wine that still meets our core sustainability values: 🍷 6 week shelf life 🍷 Minimising wastage whilst maximising margins 🍷 1 KegKeg can draw 160 125ml servings 🍷 More efficient packaging per litre of wine & a circular collection infrastructure We will be presenting wine on tap for the first time at Northern Restaurant & Bar this week, so please do pop over and try our newest format!

Lunchtime celebrating International Women's Day with Bath Rugby Foundation! We were delighted to support this fundraiser, bringing businesses, charities and individuals from across Bath, raising money for the foundation's work, all hosted in The Ivy Collection's beautiful dining room. The event featured a talk from Dr Claire-Marie Roberts, who inspired attendees with stories from her career journey. We're proud to serve our wines at Bath Rugby, and even prouder that it has led us to supporting the Bath Rugby Foundation's vital work in the community. Watch this space for more collaborations!
