This Thursday, From Me To You will be hosting our next General Meeting, and we’re proud to welcome Citizens Advice Havering as our guest speakers. We’ll be focusing on the intersection of cancer care and practical support in navigating complex systems while living with or beyond a cancer diagnosis. For many of the people we support, these are the challenges that don’t get spoken about enough. At FM2U, our General Meetings are: • A space for community connection and lived experience. • A chance to hear directly from organisations making a difference. • A place where support becomes collaborative, compassionate, and actionable. If you're working in the community, affected by cancer, or passionate about equitable care, we’d love to see you there. #FromMeToYou #TheArtOfSurvival #JudithNeptial #CitizensAdviceHavering #CancerSupport #HealthEquity #SocialCare #CommunitySupport #LivedExperienceMatters #SupportThatHeals #CollaborationForChange

Your gut is talking—are you listening? Colorectal cancer can be silent in its early stages, but your body often gives you signs. Bloating, changes in your bowel habits, or blood in your stool aren’t things to ignore. Your gut health matters. Early detection saves lives—especially in Black communities where diagnosis often comes too late. If something doesn’t feel right, speak to your GP. If you need support or guidance, DM us. From Me To You is here to help you advocate for your health—because no one should face it alone. #ColorectalCancerAwareness #GutHealthMatters #FromMeToYou #TheArtOfSurvival #BlackHealthMatters #KnowTheSigns #HealthEquity #CancerAwareness #TrustYourGut #YourHealthYourVoice

March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. It starts with a feeling—something off, something persistent. But too often, the symptoms of ovarian cancer go unnoticed or ignored. 🚨 There is no routine screening for ovarian cancer. 🚨 Black women are more likely to be diagnosed at later stages, leading to worse outcomes. 💡 Know the symptoms: • Bloating that doesn’t go away • Persistent pelvic or abdominal pain • Feeling full quickly or loss of appetite • Frequent urination If something feels off for more than 3 weeks, push for answers. Your health matters. Share this video to spread awareness. #OvarianCancerAwareness #KnowTheSigns #FromMeToYou #BlackWomensHealth #HealthEquity #EarlyDetectionSavesLives #CancerAwareness

Creating Real Change in Cancer Care It was an honour to deliver a session at the 2025 CNS Away Day, where we explored the systemic barriers in cancer care and the importance of equity, empathy, and advocacy. Hearing feedback like this reaffirms why From Me To You exists—to challenge outdated systems, inspire real conversations, and equip healthcare teams with the knowledge to support every patient better. Thank you, Annie, and the entire team, for welcoming us and your commitment to making a difference. Together, we can create lasting change.
