PROUD TO ANNOUNCE NEW APPOINTMENT 🔈 Inspire Legal Group Disability Rights dept boosted again by the appointment of Chris Fry as Trustee of the Discrimination Law Association The Discrimination Law Association brings together a broad range of discrimination law practitioners, policy experts, academics and concerned individuals, all united around a commitment to improving equality law, practice, education and advice for those who face discrimination. Their work includes submitting responses to government consultations, sharing experiences and expertise through practitioner group meetings, disseminating information and knowledge via their Briefings journals, email updates, conferences and seminars. Over the years Chris has contributed towards the DLA by articles, contributions at conferences as a member, and we have been pleased to support his application to become a Trustee to help influence the strategic development of disability rights in particular. We know that the people we represent bring cases because they want change and we think we're best placed to help with that by taking our clients' everyday experiences and feeding those into the DLA's work. BREAKING: ITV has been issued a letter from lawyers from Inspire Legal Group calling on the broadcaster to make a “reasonable adjustment” and provide British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation for its live leaders’ debate on Tuesday, I can reveal. It comes as: - ITV said it does not have the “capability” to provide BSL - The channel said it would provide live subtitles instead - Channel 4 confirmed it would provide on-screen BSL interpretation for its election programming Will you be watching the debate next Tuesday?
