"It was a very difficult period for me and I really can't say what path I would have taken if it wasn’t for the Premier League Kicks sessions being on my doorstep." Haziful was just 10 years old when he attended his first Premier League Kicks session delivered by Leyton Orient Trust on his estate in Tower Hamlets. What began as an opportunity to play football soon became much more. After his father passed away, the sessions became a vital space for Haziful to take his mind off of things. His coaches offered emotional support, helping him to navigate a challenging time and emerge stronger. With the guidance and support of Leyton Orient Trust along his journey, Hafizul was able to pursue his own dream of becoming a coach. He began by volunteering, shadowing coaches and helping to deliver Premier League Kicks sessions. Today, Hafizul manages Leyton Orient Trust's Premier League Kicks programme across a number of East London boroughs.
