𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗵 🌊 We recently hosted students from Edinburgh's Trinity Academy at our Ocean Drive project, where we are bringing to life a Build to Rent development for Goodstone Living on Leith's scenic waterfront. In partnership with DYW Edinburgh, Midlothian & East Lothian, we offered students the opportunity to explore the 2.5 acre site, gaining hands-on insight into the industry and the careers available, all while taking in fantastic views over the Firth of Forth and Edinburgh’s historic city centre. Following planning approval from the City of London Corporation last year, enabling works are well underway on site at 65 Fleet Street where - together with our joint venture partner Cheyne Capital - we are transforming an underused office building into a new mixed-use scheme targeting BREEAM Excellent, that will deliver professionally-managed student housing and new cultural spaces that pay tribute to the heritage of the area. We are retrofitting and refurbishing the existing building to create over 850 high-quality student rooms, and vibrant cultural space at the ground floor designed in partnership with St Bride Foundation that will celebrate the history of print. The scheme also includes improvements to the Grade II-listed Tipperary pub and will improve access to the Whitefriars Crypt for the general public, all that remains of the 13th-century Whitefriars Monastery that once stood on the site. Enabling works are being delivered by McAleer & Rushe. Two tower cranes have been erected, marking the start of major structural alterations to the north and south blocks as we transform the site into a landmark mixed-use scheme. By bringing together an ambitious design team, the sustainable advantages of adaptive reuse, and a deep respect for the site's heritage, we are delivering a development that meets the growing demand for student housing in the Square Mile while contributing positively to the capital’s cultural offer. #65FleetStreet #SustainableDevelopment #StudentLiving #LondonDevelopment #PublicRealm
