People don’t leave organisations. They leave environments that don’t support them. 🚪 1 in 10 women leave their job due to menopause symptoms. Many more reduce their hours, pass up opportunities, or struggle in silence. It doesn't have to be this way. 💡 Menopause in the Workplace helps employers understand what real, practical support looks like, and how to make it part of their culture. With expert-led training, guidance on policy and comms, and tailored consultancy, we’re here to help you, reduce stigma, retain talent and build a culture of genuine inclusion. Join Deborah Garlick, Joanna Sutton and Sally Leech as they discuss The Employment Rights Bill. This is currently progressing through Parliament, and is set to introduce new responsibilities for employers, placing greater emphasis on workplace equality and employee wellbeing. Menopause and menstruation are recognised as key aspects of gender equality and workplace wellbeing. Employers who take action now will not only stay ahead of legislation but also build workplace cultures where everyone can thrive. Join us for this essential discussion on what these changes mean for employers, how to prepare for new responsibilities, and what best practice looks like in supporting employees through menopause and menstruation. Last year we supported the Equality and Human Rights Commission in developing and sharing the Menopause in the workplace: Guidance for employers. 🤝 These resources helped employers understand their legal obligations and better support their employees who are going through menopause. 💡 They now need your feedback to help learn what more needs to be done to make sure no one is disadvantaged in the workplace because of menopause. 💝 Research by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development - IOM College found that two thirds (67%) of working women between the ages of 40 and 60 with experience of menopausal symptoms said they have had a mostly negative impact on them at work. 😕 🗓️ The survey will close at 5pm on Monday 24 March.
