Meet Paris Macgarr, an integrative clinical hypnotherapist and somatic healing practitioner. Paris is a clinical hypnotherapist and heads the mental health side of Remedi in London. She is the founder of Playground of the Mind: a mental wellbeing and hypnotherapy practice for anyone who needs support on their personal journey. She uses hypnotherapy, meditation & breathwork coaching to create balance and harmony.  Paris provides guidance for her clients to gain more control over thoughts and behaviours to become calmer, more confident and happier, and we are thrilled that she is bringing her warm, gentle, nurturing and powerful approach to our BLOOM⁴³ app with guided meditations to help you prepare your mind for your breast surgery and to help you relax post-surgery. 🌿 We wanted to have a focus on mindfulness within the app so as to give a full holistic overview of ways to prepare for breast surgery and we are so grateful to Paris for her expert guidance in this field. We're taking all the time we need to celebrate every woman we admire!🌸 So today, meet Luan Lawrenson-Woods, award-winning women's self-health advocate and podcaster based in Sydney, Australia. Through her lived experience of a #breastcancer, Luan champions informed decision-making and creates accessible resources to help women confidently navigate their healthcare pathways.     Luan is dedicated to helping women take control of their health. With her "Regarding Me" podcast she shares tools and strategies to empower women to confidently and proactively advocate for their health. We are so excited to have Luan contribute her important voice to our app, so as all of our patients can feel more empowered as they enter their surgeries to advocate for themselves. Meet Tooba Rose Arif MBChB MSc MRCS,a plastic and reconstructive surgery resident doctor in London. Tooba is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons and our very own Digital Content Lead at BLOOM43. Tooba has regular contact with patients undergoing breast surgery and is dedicated to making complex medical information accessible. Her goal is to enhance patient education and support their experience through clear, accurate and engaging content. We are thrilled to have Tooba be such an integral part of our team at BLOOM⁴³ and we are so happy to be celebrating her dedication, expertise and knowledge today. 🌸 Happy International Women's Day! 🌸 As we continue our series highlighting the work of amazing women, today we wanted you to meet Carly Moosah, BLOOM⁴³'s very own Patient Champion bringing her lived experience of #breastcancer and #breastsurgery to the heart of our patient centric app and BLOOM⁴³medical device. Carly is also a wellness coach, speaker, breast cancer advocate, writer and end of life doula.    Carly is passionate about supporting the breast cancer and BRCA communities as much as she can and co-hosts a monthly BRCA support group at Future Dreams Breast Cancer Charity, as well as using her voice to raise awareness, especially that early detection of breast cancer saves lives. Her advocacy, lived experience, knowledge and insights into patient experience has added immense value to our BLOOM⁴³ work. 🌸 Celebrating Incredible Women this International Women's Day! 🌸 Meet Vicky Fox, a yoga for cancer teacher and trainer since 2013, and yoga teacher since 2008. Vicky is the author of "Yoga For Cancer: The A-Z of C" & "Time To Repair" and a valued part of the cancer community with her gentle, compassionate, knowledgeable approach to movement and its many benefits.    Vicky teaches regular yoga for cancer classes and hears every day how yoga benefits those impacted by cancer, empowering them at a time when things can feel out of control. We are so grateful to Vicky for bringing her knowledge and expertise to our app with guided movement and breathing exercises to help everyone to enter their surgery feeling better prepared. As well as helping everyone post breast surgery to gently move safely and get themselves more mobile as quickly as possible. 🌸 Celebrating Incredible Women this International Women's Day! 🌸 Today, we want to shine a light on Dr. Anushka Chaudhry, a consultant breast and oncoplastic surgeon in the NHS.    Anushka is an exceptional, experienced breast reconstructive and cosmetic breast surgeon, with expertise in both plastic and oncological surgery, optimizing both removal of the breast cancer and the aesthetics of the breast, contributing to quality of life after breast cancer treatment. She is also a valued health educator and important voice for the South Asian community, passionate about improving the healthcare experiences and tackling inequalities of cancer care in ethnic minorities. As well as being the Chair and co-founder of Aurora Breast Cancer Wellbeing, a charity supporting young women with a diagnosis of breast cancer.  We are incredibly excited to have Anushka contribute to our library of expert content within our BLOOM⁴³ app. With her expertise, wealth of knowledge and compassionate nature we feel very grateful to have her involved. 🌸 Celebrating Incredible Women this International Women's Day helping us shape our BLOOM⁴³ breast surgery preparation app🌸 Meet Laura Jane Powell, an advanced plastic surgery nurse specialist with 16 years experience in plastics, trauma, burns, wound care, oncology and scar management.    Laura is also an expert in areola tattooing and restoration and a member of the Mastectomy Tattooing Alliance, giving confidence back to those who have gone through breast surgery and nipple removal, by tattooing realistic areolas. Often the final and important part of many breast surgery journeys. Laura's compassionate and warm personality, as well as expertise in caring for those undergoing surgeries makes her an incredible voice for our BLOOM⁴³ app providing support and information in an easy to digest way.
