"Extremely knowledgeable, relatable and informative" "Absolutely fantastic!" Feedback from our recent #PeopleFocusedTraining was hugely positive; staff said they felt valued and took a lot away from their sessions to use in their own schools. #PFTEvents #Collaboration #WorkingTogether #OneTeam

A visionary, primary-focused MAT of 11 schools in Bexley, Kent and Medway.
About us
We are a Trust that truly celebrates and nurtures the diversity and distinctiveness of its partner schools. We are a growing network of 10 individual primaries across Bexley, Gravesham and Medway. All are at different points in their journey - each with a unique context, considerable strengths and specific opportunities. Our refreshingly collaborative way of working, enviable track record and deep understanding of primary-based learning gives us an unmistakeable edge in driving up standards in every area of school life. Our Vision is to be First for Primary Education. First Class - for outcomes and overall pupil experience First Choice - for parents choosing a school and for staff developing their careers First Voice -as thought-leaders, pushing boundaries and raising standards. Our innovative approach to education leadership is rooted in a simple belief: We grow stronger by working together. We are a Schools Group - and not just a group of schools. The distinction is important. It means that we are so much more than the sum of our parts, adding real, tangible value across the portfolio, allowing our schools to grow stronger than they ever could as standalones, or in loose affiliation. The upshot is a collaborative leadership model that eschews 'one size fits all' in favour of distinct voices, open minds and shared learning.

Did you know that during a child’s life at primary school, they spend 1.4 years out at play? This means they spend as much time outside as they do in their maths lessons! Westcourt Primary and Nursery School made it their mission to make that playtime meaningful and have just achieved the Outdoor Play and Learning (OPAL) CIC Platinum Award! "Westcourt Primary School and Nursery has just achieved Platinum award status from OPAL Outdoor Play and Learning. This means that they are in the top 0.5% of UK schools for the quality of the play they provide for all their children. The school has demonstrated that it takes the UNCRC Article 31, the child's right to play, seriously and is implementing all stages of school improvement in relation to play, including policy, planning, resourcing, staffing and evaluation." Michael Follett BA Hons Ed, PGCE OPAL Founder and Director Find out more about their journey: https://lnkd.in/eQ5EcWMb #OPALplay #creativeplay #outdoorplay
