We’ve kicked off the new year with great momentum—new enterprise customers on-boarded and a noticeable rise in the recognition that seamless but robust contingent classification compliance can deliver a 10x ROI when managed properly. 2024 has been a rollercoaster of a year for a lot of people, so as we welcome in 2025 what are your predictions and expectations for the year ahead? Personally I'm excited to welcome new opportunities and new challenges, and I'm always open to those. I'm trying to commit to being more visible and accessible to people. Professionally my top 3 predictions include AI, SIAM, and sustainability. Yes, it's time we incorporated policies for sustainability into our Governance approach if we're not already doing so. Digital Transformation is an all encompassing term and can mean totally different things to different people and organisations. Sam's post here focuses on one aspect of our service offering, which can often be the starting point for our interactions with businesses. We strongly believe that successful IT strategies should be architecture led.

What did I learn in this session with Khyati Sundaram? Certainly that Gen AI has a tendency to hallucinate! And certainly that leveraging the Applied platform is all about removing data that doesn’t signal whether you are right for the job or not e.g. name, gender, school. And then inputting data which signals whether you are a good fit or not: skills, mission alignment, passion/interests. Perhaps we need to let go of the CV which is an inconvenient comfort blanket.. Removing the opportunity for bias Ava ensuring that you get a fair chance at getting the job will require a mindset shift for employers and their hiring processes Inspiring to hear he the unwavering commitment to fairness from CEO Khyati Sundaram! Something I've been pondering for a number of years and finally got irritated enough to post... How have IT suppliers, especially SAAS providers, managed to remove the concept of a resolution time from their service contracts? Clients pay them to deliver a service and yet, retain all the risk for the supplier not delivering, even when suffering significant service impact. The only material element that is offered is what they pass off directly down to the Cloud suppliers, Availability, retaining no risk themselves for the pain that they can inflict through bad management of services delivered by them. Surely it is within the supplier's gift to restore services to the last known working configuration within a decent timeframe so clients can manage the expectations of their customers? I get, with shared code bases, that actual fixes can be difficult to estimate and guarantee, but restoration should be manageable and actually represent a supplier's confidence in the ability to deliver its services to its clients. Time to push back against this?
