Holistic and embodiment businesses are transforming how we approach connection, healing, and well-being. Thank you to JooBee Yeow, PhD, Lauren Gomes, and Marie Krebs for joining our virtual panel discussion last week - a second fascinating gathering of 'People people' in one week. The topic we got into was how People leaders can influence the Exec and senior leaders in a business. It’s an evergreen topic, and an important one. The panelists were all vulnerable and shared their mistakes and lessons learned along the way. The key three areas we explored were: 👀 Perceptions that senior leadership teams typically have about the HR team Key takeaway: You’ve got to get curious about any kind of bias you might be facing. This is the starting point for mitigating this and starting to shift perceptions 🚫 Why some senior leaders resist certain HR initiatives Key takeaway: You need to take the time to understand where your leaders are coming from (their needs/pain points) so you can be aligned and tailor your strategy ✅ How you go about convincing senior leaders to support an HR initiative Key takeaway: Everyone makes mistakes on this one.
