Activities and Societies: Law and Sociology class student representative 1988, 89 and 90. Managed events for Ballroom Dancing Society for 2 years. Deputy editor of Articulate (BA newspaper). Played hockey for the university.
Completed my BA in Law and Sociology, but also participated in campus life including:
* Deputy Editor of Arts Faculty Student Newspaper
* ran events for the Ballroom Dancing Society
*student class representative 1988,89 and 1990 for Sociology and various legal subjects including Criminology
* conducted 2 years' of research with 4 senior schools (over 600 scholars) on gender inequality and the impact on ambition leading to a first for my final year dissertation. -

It was social hockey but involved people of varying ages - the greatest change I saw was how teenage boys learnt to play hockey as team players seeing how the older men (up to 70years of age!) played by being co-operative and wise.

This work lead to broader work especially around the governance aspects of investment as well as business support. Today Social Entrepreneur Place Ltd reflects my 20 year journey and the boost from UnLtd in 2015.
