Netwealth's Iain Barnes talks to ETF Express about the company's use of #etfs in their wealth management offering which has just seen assets go over GBP1 billioin. Barnes says: “I joined in 2016 to set up the investment process and launch the portfolios, and a prerequisite was to deliver market exposure in as efficient a way as possible calling on my experience at UBS where I combined ETFs with active strategies. “We felt there was a clear way to deliver market exposure without the unnecessary incremental fees of active managers.” Barnes says that the recent dramatic growth of the ETF market has been a real boon to investment markets over the past decade.
