Happy New Year! 2025 is going to be an exciting year for GSMA Open Gateway. The Open Gateway programme goes from strength-to-strength with 69 MoU signatories, across 280 networks and 75% of network connectivity. The CAMARA Project has now published 38 APIs, including the latest "Most Frequent Location" allowing the creation of some highly innovative network API services. We expect to see a lot of innovation in 2025. The GSMA has certified 90 APIs, with a huge number currently going through the certification process, and there have been 52 commercial service launches. The Open Gateway Channel Partner programme continues at pace. There are now 30 channel partners including the latest addition LotusFlare. The GSMA also launched Fusion a new industry-centric initiative focused on helping enterprises and industries voice what they need from connectivity providers to digitally transform their operations. You will hear a lot more about Fusion this year. Last year our focus was on engaging with innovators and early adopters to get involved with Open Gateway, this is now changing to sharing best-practice, educating companies that aren't yet involved and demonstrating the ability of network APIs to solve real-world industry problems. 🎉 MWC Barcelona 2025 and the Open Gateway Zone, an incredible success! With 109,000 attendees at #MWC25 and over 21,000 at Talent Arena, GSMA Open Gateway and GSMA Fusion were at the forefront of innovation. 🌎 The GSMA Open Gateway Zone was a dynamic showcase of what’s possible with network APIs, featuring six demo pods and 16 partners driving the next wave of digital transformation. Our collaboration with Elmo and Nokia allowed attendees to remotely drive a vehicle over 3,400 km away in Finland—a powerful demonstration of Open Gateway in action. The second day of #TalentArena25 has been absolutely incredible.
