Whisper it, but we have reached the bottom of the #agtech venture capital cycle, proclaimed investors at the recent World Agri-Tech Summit in San Francisco. But don’t expect to party like it’s 2021. For start-ups and VCs alike, the focus is on sustainable growth. FRENCH INNOVATION IN FOOD AND AGRI TECH]   🌾Last week, a delegation of French companies landed in the Bay Area to showcase French innovation in food- and agri-tech. With representatives from both the Business France Agribusiness – North America ‘s Agrinest accelerator and La French Tech, these 12 companies covered a wide range of sectors, from alternative proteins to biologics to AI-powered agri-equipment to monitoring tools for farmers – and much more. 🚀Many of the companies have been named #France2030 laureates, meaning that their products or solutions contribute to the ambitious France 2030 goals regarding food security and sustainability. As part of their North American export development, members of the delegation attended the World Agri-Tech and the Future Food-Tech summits to exhibit and pitch their solutions for industry stakeholders.   🌆In addition, Business France and La Mission French Tech hosted a cocktail reception at the Consulate General of France in San Francisco, providing another opportunity to network and set the groundwork for future collaborations.
