In 2024, we made great progress with our "100 million" goals: 🌎 51 million women in low- and middle-income countries gained access to modern contraception. 🌎 73 million people in underserved communities received self-care solutions. 🌎 52 million smallholder farmers received support in developing regions. Here are some more highlights from the year: • 🌱 We were recognized for our Climate Transition and Transformation Plan. This plan outlines our path to reduce our carbon footprint, with a goal to achieve climate neutrality by 2030 and reach Net Zero emissions by 2050. • 🌾 We made progress in enabling regenerative agriculture and expanding our biofuels footprint, reinforcing our role in transforming food and farming systems. • 💊 We launched the Global Health Unit, with the goal to improve access to essential medicines and healthcare in areas that need it most. • 📈 We continue to include our sustainability goals in our long-term plans, to ensure that caring for the planet is part of our business success. By 2030, more than 1 billion women will be in menopause. Menopause can substantially affect a woman’s life, but a lack of awareness and care options leaves most symptoms untreated. Each woman’s experience with the menopause transition will be different. Menopause usually begins during a period where women are at the peak of their life’s activity and can affect them both at home and in the workplace -- and it is much more than JUST hot flashes.
