Are you ready to
make an impact with care?

Our culture is what makes us
uniquely Philips

It’s who we are and how we work with each other to bring our purpose to life. Our culture is based on a single focus: delivering impact with care for patients, people and the planet.

We can’t truly have an impact without care. And it's the way we care that drives our impact. It's how we work together to deliver on our priorities, the way we care for each other, our diverse views and how we foster inclusion. It's our passion for innovation and our customers’ success. And it’s how we welcome new colleagues like you in doing the work of your life to help the lives of others.

What does impact with care mean to you?

Our culture isn’t guided by a prescriptive set of rules you must follow. It’s an invitation to embrace what unites us and makes us better, where we put the safety of patients, and a clear focus on quality and integrity, at the heart of everything we do.

Driving impact with care means putting yourself in the shoes of the people we serve to truly understand their needs – and then working with clarity and simplicity to meet those needs.

You take pride in executing each new project and seeing it through to the finish line. Because you know that’s how your ideas will flourish into solutions that help to address some of the world’s most pressing healthcare challenges.

Living our culture is about collaborating with people who share your passion to improve the lives of others, inspiring colleagues to do the best they can every day. You create a safe space for people to speak up and share their ideas, even if they’re different to yours. And you thrive on learning new skills as you go, because you know the world of difference it can make.

Our culture also means feeling empowered to take action when it’s needed most. And being accountable for your work because you know that it could change someone’s life for the better or help protect our planet for generations to come.

Harness the power of together

When you join Philips, you’ll notice the vibrant energy in our locations, and the special bond between people. That’s created by the unique spark of creativity that working side-by-side ignites.

Being together makes us better at what we do, fostering a supportive community with a sense of belonging, where we feel safe and encouraged to learn and grow. As a team, we are globally connected and locally together.

Working flexibly is also part of who we are. Depending on the nature of your work, we offer different arrangements. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least three days per week. While our onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities, our field employees most effectively work away from the company’s main facilities, either at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

It’s all part of how we help you to thrive both personally and professionally when you join us in doing the work of your life to help the lives of others.
