Comments about the soundtrack for Hercules (Alan Menken)

Not exactly as strong as the other Disney scores, but still tolerable enough

I don't see why this has a one star rating. I thought the score for Hercules was so darn good. OK, it's not as strong as say, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, & The Hunchback of Notre Dame, but at least it's tolerable enough for me.

The rest of the score is fine, but I think the best track goes to "True Hero/A Star Is Born (Reprise)". It has an epic tone to it which I think the rest of the score should have been, I will admit. The songs, however, are a mixed bag. I liked "Go The Distance", "Zero To Hero", and "I Won't Say I'm In Love", but the "Gospel Truth" song sequences are out of place and Danny Devito's song was just so unbearable.

Overall, not the best, but still a good Disney score at least. 7/10 from me!
