🙏🏆 Aigen is the 'Startup of the Year' at Emerging Prairie's 1 Million Thanks 2025! We were honored to be with: * Lifetime Impact Award: Senator John Hoeven * Ecosystem Champion: U.S. Small Business Administration * Innovation Champion: AgCountry Farm Credit Services * Technology Community Champion: Jaryd Krishnan 🎤 Here is my speech to publicly thank our supporters, friends and teammates for their hard work and dedication. --- Good evening, everyone. I met a farmer not far from here, a father of two young girls. He told me he hadn’t had dinner with his daughters or tucked them into bed in over a month because of the demands of his farm. And he said to me, “If you can help me get just one hour a day with them, it would mean everything to me.” And that stuck with me. As a father of two myself, it reminds me why our work at Aigen matters. Every year, farmers bet the farm—taking immense risks to feed Americans and the world. But the challenges they face—rising costs, labor shortages, and herbicide resistance—are growing. Our goal is simple: to ensure American farmers, who embody the best of the American spirit, have the tools they need to succeed. So using the latest tech from robotics and AI, we deployed 50 robots on partner farms to reduce costs, improve yields, and build a sustainable future. Fargo has been the perfect place for Aigen to take root. The amazing agriculture community here, including Grand Farm, Greater Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corporation, and the amazing sugarbeet community, has inspired us every step of the way. Your support has been pivotal to our startup journey, and we’re excited to deliver our technology from the Red River Valley to farms across America. As I reflect on what ties us all together, I think about one of my favorite words: humus. No not hummus, the chickpea spread on pita bread. I mean humus, the dark fertile organic matter in soil where life thrives. It’s also the root word for humble, humanity and human—a reminder that we all share common ground. Let's show the world what we can achieve when we work side by side, grounded in purpose and vision. Thank you for this honor. Tonight, I accept this award on behalf of my entire team. It's THEIR dedication and passion have made this possible. Aigen team: Richard Wurden Kayla Skiera Sandra Phillips Bill D'Zio, C.P.M. Had a fantastic evening at the Seattle Hardware Meetup What was your favorite part of the Seattle Hardware Meetup? Share in the comments below! I thought it was inspiring to hear presentations from Made Cascade and Ballard Machine Works on the intricacies of design and production. Their insights into the realities of manufacturing were invaluable. I also had the opportunity to share an overview of #Aigen, weaving in some personal anecdotes and fielding insightful questions from the audience. The Aigen Element robot was there along with Puneet Khattar (Director of Engineering). The networking time was a highlight, allowing me to reconnect with familiar faces from the hardware community and forge new relationships. A big thanks to the organizers for putting together such a productive and engaging event! Thanks Sean McBeath Sajan Mistry Tim Thorpe Grant Macdonald. Appreciate the food and drinks provided by MaRCTech2, Inc. Thanks to Kenny Lee and Richard Wurden for starting Aigen! #SeattleHardware #Manufacturing #Aigen #Innovation
