ATRI Launches Annual Survey on Trucking Operational Costs The American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) is calling on carriers of all sizes to participate in its annual Operational Costs of Trucking survey. This initiative aims to document changing cost patterns in trucking operations and help fleets achieve higher profitability and improved operational efficiencies. Carriers are encouraged to share data on driver pay, insurance premiums, equipment lease or purchase payments, and more. In return, participants will receive a customized report comparing their fleet’s costs and operations to an anonymized peer group of the same sector and size. This valuable information can assist carriers in benchmarking their financials and preparing for contract negotiations.
