The latest CISA Advisory (AA25-071A) warns of Medusa Ransomware, a growing Ransomware-as-a-Service (RaaS) threat that exploits public-facing vulnerabilities and hijacked accounts to infiltrate networks. By leveraging Living-off-the-Land (LotL) techniques, Medusa blends in with legitimate activity, making detection and response even more challenging. As of February, over 300 victims in critical infrastructure have been impacted by the ransomware. #SecurityResearchers need to analyze Medusa’s evolving TTPs to stay ahead of its tactics. #CISOs and #SecurityTeams must ensure their defenses can withstand these techniques before an attack happens.
