NO: The Start of a Movement. This is the theme of my keynote presentation next week at the Ohio Chamber of Commerce Women in Business summit. I am intimately familiar with "no." When I was raising my first round of venture capital for Aunt Flow, I was told "no" 86 times before my first yes from Harlem Capital and Precursor Ventures. Since, Aunt Flow has raised ~$17m in venture capital. So what's the hack? Register for the event to find out ➡️ https://hubs.ly/Q03b1Ms30 📷 Featuring a billboard from Justworks highlighting my long journey of NO.

Illinois public universities and community colleges are required to provide free period products in bathrooms. 🔴 So how did University of Illinois Chicago ensure compliance while considering campus goals? 1️⃣ The facilities team connected with Aunt Flow to learn more about our complete dispensing system. 2️⃣ With such a large campus, totaling over 100 bathrooms, the team understood that maintaining the program wasn't just about the cost of the product, but the time and labor of restocking dispensers. The Aunt Flow dispensers would save facilities' team members 1,650 hours per year on reloading compared to other options. 3️⃣ UIC will achieve carbon neutrality by 2050, so selecting a period care solution that aligns with the campus's Climate Initiatives was important. Aunt Flow's single-use plastic free and 100% organic cotton period products stood out. 4️⃣ UIC has invested heavily in ensuring facilities are ADA compliant. The campus needed a dispensing solution that was accessible to all. Turn-knob dispensers are NOT ADA compliant. Aunt Flow's push-button solutions meets standards. What are your campus initiatives around period care? Aunt Flow is here to find solutions that meet your campus needs. PS. Will your university be attending ACUI in NYC March 16-20?
