Serving students from third grade through college and beyond, their free programs are offered in all 50 states and around the globe. Girls Who Code plans to reach five million girls, women and nonbinary students over the next five years and they’re on track to reach gender parity in new entry-level tech jobs by 2030.     (Plus, they designed Girl Jams – an interactive digital experience that allows girls to learn the basics of AI by writing, creating art for and producing a hit single. At Staffing Industry Analysts' Executive Forum, Sophia will join industry leaders to discuss what’s next for healthcare staffing–addressing cost pressures, shifting demand and the opportunities that will shape the future.

Firearm injuries are a public health issue, and now the leading cause of death for children and teens in the U.S. At Aya, we’re passionate about making lives better and communities safer, and we are proud to partner with the Ad Council and a coalition of leading hospitals and health systems on a first-of-its-kind gun violence prevention initiative. The #AgreeToAgree campaign offers resources for both parents and healthcare professionals on how to have these critical conversations. Healthcare professionals are on the front lines and trusted messengers to patients and families. As part of this initiative, our nurse fellow and travel ICU nurse Zac Shepherd, RN was invited to share his experience navigating these conversations across different states.

Financial strategy today shapes the success of healthcare tomorrow. On April 24, Cristal Mackay will take the stage at the Finance in Healthcare Symposium to tackle one of healthcare’s biggest challenges—financial sustainability. Work-life balance at Aya means sometimes your “out of office” includes a Super Bowl sideline.   By day, Hanna analyzes workforce trends to help healthcare organizations hire faster and ensure communities have the clinicians they need—but off the clock, she’s hyping up a different crowd.   As a Philadelphia Eagles cheerleader, she traveled to New Orleans for the Super Bowl and celebrated at Philly’s victory parade!   Aya’s flexibility lets Hanna make an impact—whether optimizing staffing strategies or celebrating a big win.
