Last year, Aubree was a standout in our San Diego Construction group, exceeding expectations in project coordination and providing key support to our onsite field staff across multiple projects. She revamped our Excel document tools for her Summer Intern Project, helping improve efficiency within the team. With her strong organizational skills, proactive mindset, and dedication, Aubree quickly became a valuable asset. Employee Spotlight - Kathleen Matthews We asked Kathleen some questions. Check out what she had to say! What do you enjoy most about working with your team? My fellow Commercial Solar teammates are the most fun and innovative people to work with. They have an incredibly upbeat energy and a tenacity about them, they can find solutions to some of the most challenging and complex problems.  What’s your favorite part of the company culture? I love how Baker trains the talent they already have and promotes from within.  What’s a proud moment or achievement in your career so far? To this very day, I continue to be honored to have been selected to receive the “Pursuit of Excellence” Leroy Award in 2018. How has your role evolved since you started? I started with Baker as a Junior Electrical Estimator in training and am now a Senior Design Build Electrical Estimator in Renewables. The most rewarding evolution for me has been embracing my role of Estimating Manager in the Commercial Solar Operating Group. I am thrilled to help play a role in shaping the careers of estimators in our field.
