We’re proud of the communities we serve—and even prouder to serve them in a way that truly makes a difference. At the Burke & Herbert Bank Foundation, we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all giving. Our strength lies in staying close to the ground, listening deeply, and acting quickly where it counts. Whether it’s supporting families through the Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank or helping kids step up to the plate with the Kids on First Foundation in Richmond, we’re committed to showing up in meaningful, hands-on ways. From the Potomac Valley to the Eastern Shore, from Alexandria to Charleston, across five states, and every neighborhood in between—our impact isn’t just local. It’s everywhere our community needs us to be. We’re incredibly fortunate to have a nimble, responsive foundation powered by people who care deeply. Because when support is personal, the impact goes wide. Seth Feibelman Jeff Rouse Paul Covill

We're honored to support Together We Bake, an incredible organization dedicated to empowering women facing significant employment barriers. Through their comprehensive workforce training and personal development programs, these remarkable women build confidence, gain vital skills, and forge pathways toward sustainable employment and lasting independence. Our very own Emily Debeniotis, EVP of Human Resources, along with Vicki Madden-Jackson, CBM, J. Dan Convery, Business Banking Officer, and Jane Petty recently attended a TWB graduation ceremony. They witnessed powerful stories of courage, resilience, and transformation firsthand. Community is the heart of everything we do—and moments like these remind us why giving back matters deeply. We're proud to play a part in fostering brighter futures.

Market President Jeff Rouse and Commercial Banking Executive Paul Covill proudly delivered a $10,000 donation to Greater Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity on behalf of the Burke & Herbert Bank Foundation. By partnering with organizations like Habitat for Humanity, we’re helping to create opportunities for families to build brighter futures through homeownership. Their work not only provides shelter but also strengthens neighborhoods and fosters long-term economic stability. At the Burke & Herbert Bank Foundation, we know that a thriving community isn’t just about economic success—it’s about the well-being of the people who call it home. When one person struggles, it ripples through families, workplaces, and entire neighborhoods. And right now, substance use disorder is one of the most urgent challenges facing our region. That’s why we’re not just talking about solutions—we’re investing in them. Our recent $75,000 donation to Potomac Highlands Guild, Inc. is part of that commitment, helping to expand CravAlert, an innovative remote monitoring system that provides real-time intervention for individuals in early recovery. By combining technology, peer support, and proactive care, this program strengthens the safety net for those working to reclaim their lives. Substance use disorder is complex. It’s deeply personal. But recovery is possible, and no one should have to face it alone. The Potomac Highlands Guild has been a cornerstone of support across Hardy, Grant, Pendleton, Hampshire, and Mineral counties, providing essential mental health and recovery services. We are proud to stand beside them in this fight. At Burke & Herbert Bank Foundation, we believe true prosperity isn’t just measured in dollars—it’s measured in hope, resilience, and the strength of the communities we build together.
