The Counseling Place is a non-profit dedicated to enhancing the emotional well-being of people and families offering a range of services and specifically helps Richardson police and fire departments with victim assistance and youth programs. Today, the City of Richardson Texas honored 126 employees for their remarkable dedication, totaling an impressive 1,430 years of service. These committed professionals exemplify a deep commitment to both the community and their colleagues, often sacrificing personal time to deliver exceptional programs and services. Their unwavering efforts, spanning early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays, truly showcase their passion for Making A Difference! The highlight of the celebration was when Event Specialist Keith Belew received a standing ovation for 40 years of dedicated service to our community. Best wishes to Keith as he retires this May and embarks on the next phase of his journey!

Richardson’s Parks and Recreation Department is searching for enthusiastic people to join its team. The department is hiring for Lifeguards to help keep things safe for swimmers. Salary: $14.00-$15.00 In this role, the Lifeguard performs visual supervision of swimming pool stations in all areas of the pool facility. Perform maintenance of grounds and building. They will also work with circulation pump, motor, valves, and vacuum system. Admit patrons at the gate, record accurate visits and methods of payment.
