The City of McKinney was designated a Texas Transparency Trailblazer in a ceremony at the Texas State Capitol yesterday. This represents the highest level of transparency in the Comptroller's Transparency Stars program. We are one of 11 local governments that earned all six Transparency Stars and achieved Trailblazer status.

After the completion of a nationwide recruitment, Jennifer Arnold has been selected as the City of McKinney’s newest Assistant City Manager. Jennifer started with the city in 2007 and has served as the Director of Planning since 2018. During that time, Jennifer led efforts to update the city’s Comprehensive Plan and implementation of the city’s new Unified Development Code. Jennifer has also directed planning activities, leading to over $3 billion in new construction in the city. Welcome to the City Manager’s Office, Jennifer!
