Since 1983, we’ve been dedicated to transforming children’s healthcare by raising critical, unrestricted funds to support treatments, programs, and state-of-the-art equipment for local children’s hospitals. Our 170 member hospitals treat 12 million kids each year, supporting the mental, physical, and emotional health of patients and their families. Working together with partners and programs like Extra Life, Dance Marathon, Play Yellow, and Radiothon, we’ve raised over $9 billion in 42 years with no plans on stopping! When we improve the health of all children and allow them the opportunity to reach their full potential, we can improve our communities for years to come. 15-year-old Grace is UVA Health's 2025 Children's Miracle Network Hospitals Local Champion! 🎉 UVA Health Children's NICU was Grace's first home after she was born weighing a little more than 2lbs and had to overcome a brain-bleed and a non-functional kidney. Thanks to donations, in part through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, UVA Health Children's provides Child Life support through its Patient and Family Centered Care Program; this helped Grace, and her siblings navigate their medical journeys! Today, Grace regularly volunteers at UVA Health Children's and enjoys participating in her favorite sport: horseback barrel racing! At two years old, Elliott was diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a rare eye cancer. The only option was to remove his left eye and the journey was filled with fear and uncertainty. Thanks to the compassionate care at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center CMN Hospitals, Elliott received a sedated MRI, ensuring an accurate diagnosis, and his family found strength in the hospital’s Child Life program, supported by Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
