🎉 We are excited to announce that J. Michael Kramer, MD, MBA has joined Cone Health's leadership team as Chief Medical Information Officer! 👏 In this role, Dr. Kramer will serve as a liaison between the medical staff and information systems team and support the continued advancement of information technology into hospital and ambulatory practice settings to promote the highest possible quality, safety and evidence-based patient care. Kramer is a clinician and executive with more than 20 years of experience in quality and safety, medical informatics, digital health, virtual care and AI. Prior to joining Cone Health, Kramer served as the Vice President and Chief Health Information Officer at Inova Health in Fairfax, Va. He also served as Vice President and Chief Medical Information Officer at OhioHealth in Columbus, Ohio, and Senior Vice President, Chief Quality Officer and Chief Medical Information Officer at Spectrum Health, now CoreWell, in Grand Rapids, Mich. Dr. Kramer received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University of Medicine in Cleveland and earned his MBA with a specialization in healthcare and information technology from the University of Michigan. Dr. Kramer received his bachelor’s degree from Miami University (Ohio).
