Bigger than buildings.

About us

Construction for Change believes every building provides an opportunity to improve the health, education, or economic mobility of everyone in a community. From schools to medical facilities, these are the spaces where change happens. Construction for Change builds world-class facilities where people can exchange information, discuss ideas, and access life-improving services. We partner with organizations that provide life-changing resources but have outgrown their current facilities or want to expand the services they offer. We design buildings that match the needs of the people who use them, because great work is even better in great spaces. We build to last; our facilities meet the highest standards of safety and durability. Through natural disasters, time, and difficult environmental conditions, our structures stay standing to provide space for positive change.

  • CfC and Matibabu Foundation hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony in January to mark the opening of The Serenity Parlor, a new mortuary facility in Kenya. This vital space will ensure dignified end-of-life care through palliative services and home health visits, providing compassionate support for families during their most difficult moments. Beyond healthcare, this project is also about empowerment. The facility will offer programs to support widows through community gardens and fish farms - helping provide nutrition, food security, and sustainable entrepreneurial skills. Thank you to the teams in Africa for their dedication to this transformative work and their commitment to creating a lasting impact.
