  Hollywood, here we come!   What a great recognition of technical skills for a member of the Coprata #SmartToilet family.   Among the nominees of the 23rd annual Visual Effects Society awards is our very own Michael PYNN, senior electrical engineer. He is recognized for designing and building an electronic simulation firearm system that was used extensively on The Penguin TV series. A technical achievement in pursuit of a realistic film experience without the risk of real firearms! He will attend the award ceremony in Hollywood later this month 🚀, rubbing elbows with the teams that worked on Dune, Moana and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. Imagine this... • Mini-theme park vibes at the airport. • Disney movies on shared screens (no headsets needed). • Flight crews in character (Goofy the Pilot), making safety demos magical. Spirit filed for bankruptcy last year and is already based in Florida. Disney is doubling its cruise business, so why not expand from the land and sea to the air? Plus, Disney Air Magic Cards could rake in loyalty profits. Airlines are tricky, but credit cards? Total win. 🔮 Wish #2: Apple’s iTush—The Smart Toilet. Yep, Apple should launch a smart toilet. Think… • Sleek Apple design for your throne. • Health data from your, um, business (blood sugar, cardio, even cancer detection). • An iPad bidet controller—keep your phone out of the bathroom. Apple has already pivoted to health with the Apple Watch and AirPods. And no other Big Tech brand has launched a product for the bathroom. With a $6K price point and daily use, it’s shocking Apple hasn’t already launched iTushy yet. 🔮 Wish #3: Home Depot Builds… Homes. Let’s bring back mail-order homes, Home Depot-style. Picture this…  • Model homes in garden sections. • Designer collabs (hello, Martha Stewart). • JPMorgan handles the mortgages, Walmart does the furnishings. If each store sold 1K homes a year, that’s 2M new homes—a game-changer for the housing crisis. Home Depot could solve the housing shortage by launching actual homes. Sears pioneered the mail-order home a century ago, but Home Depot should revive it. The Takeaway on our 2025 Predictions? Big wins come from untapped markets. • Disney could make flying fun.  • Apple could be the first smart tech on the toilet.  • Home Depot could help fix housing. These wishes? Can academic entrepreneurs have successful exits?   As a first-time #founder, I was delighted to be included in this article.   Alongside my Duke University colleagues who are passionate about #entrepreneurship and have great exits to show for their efforts, we discussed different ways to navigate #startup life.   And as a #femalefounder, I cannot help but notice: the gender balance in the photo reflects the reality.    Only one in four tech startups has a female founder. I am proud to be in this space and leading boldly. #womenentrepreneurs  #beinspired, #startupsuccess https://lnkd.in/etvf2ZuV
