Night driving isn’t just about turning on your headlights, it’s about heightened awareness and extra precautions. Darkness introduces risks like: Low visibility: Pedestrians, cyclists, and animals are harder to spot. Judgment errors: Distances of approaching or trailing vehicles can be deceptive. Bright headlights: Oncoming high beams can temporarily impair vision. Proactive Safety Tips for Motorists: ✅ Don’t drive drowsy—take breaks if needed. ✅ Reduce speed to accommodate limited visibility. ✅ Stay alert for obstacles like broken-down vehicles. The risk of collisions increases at night, let’s prioritize safety. Stay alert, stay smart, and keep the roads safer for everyone.

According to a recent CNBC article, Maryland ranks 47th in terms of the cost of doing business. States with higher rankings are making significant investments in transportation infrastructure, particularly roadways.
