Stay vigilant!
I have warned people about relying solely on password managers to secure critical apps. While most are very secure, AI is making it easier for hackers with little to no skill to exploit vulnerabilities that could expose all of your passwords, even "complex" ones. So what should you do? 1. Use passkeys or 2FA through an authenticator app (not email or text), especially for accounts with elevated privileges or apps storing sensitive data. 2. Be careful when installing extensions. Make sure you know who the publisher is, and read reviews of other user's experiences. Avoid new extensions with little or no social proof. 3. For business, implement phishing training and incorporate simulations to reinforce training and keep your team vigilant. https://lnkd.in/ecsWwym5
