Congratulations to this year’s recipients of our Patents for Humanity Green Energy and Trademarks for Humanity awards!
These businesses are working to make the world better for all people through their innovations. Among this year’s winners are businesses that developed a new way to convert household garbage into fuel, use hydrokinetic turbines in renewable sources, and created a mark for its environmental protection services featuring a wave inside of a water droplet that pays homage to water.
The competitions recognized innovators who use game-changing tech to meet global humanitarian challenges.
Patents for Humanity Green Energy applicants were evaluated on their meaningful actions to make the technology available to the marketplace and the overall benefit they provide to the climate by making energy more sustainable over traditional energy sources. Applicants in the Trademarks for Humanity competition were judged on how trademarks can be used to communicate brand owner’s commitment to improving the environment in a broad spectrum of industries.
