As we near the launch of EPRI’s Climate READi Framework, we’re proud to highlight the impactful work accomplished to advance climate-informed energy planning with initiative members, like Alliant Energy. Alliant Energy serves as one of the partners for the Midwest Regional Case Study. Application to the Alliant Energy system is informing practical implementation challenges of the Climate READi Framework. Understanding limitations and gaps through application is helping evolve the Framework to consider these challenges and improve the process for future practitioners. This collaboration showcases how integrating climate science into planning supports a more resilient, reliable grid.
